Does anyone know if any local shops screwfix/b&Q etc sell the little clips for use on the rear undertray, i think they are called spire or c-clips? I know they can be purchased from ebay and elise parts but i need them tomorow and cant wait for delivery

I'm pretty sure I saw some in (believe it or not) Halfords yesterday.

I've got some of you fancy a drive out? Otherwise I'd imagine most local bolt/fastener places would have them.

Try ScrewFix.

The spire clips work best with self tappers. The oem clips are threaded so no need to change the bolts.
Any local lotus places?

If all else fails ...you can get from Vaux but do NOT ask for VX220 undertray c-clips, ask for Astra-G bumper c-clips, virtually identical and 10% of the price - 46p each from memory.

Or your other option is Elise Parts or Elise-shop!
I ordered some with other bits, pretty sure they were the 4mm ones. Ones at B&Q are for screws rather than threaded bolts. My 4 local Halfords dont stock them.

Cheers for the offer Matt, managed to get the ones from screwfix in the end though like Ouchie says they are realy made for self tappers and arent realy any good for the vx, they have done the job but ruined the tread on all of the bolts in the process!
Thankfully its done what I need for now and as it will be comming off again in a month or so I have time to order new from elise shop now
Cheers for the help guys

Get stainless steel bolts and replace the lot when you get back under the car.
