hello neil came round again today, happy to say the car is now starting up and running but.....the car does need a camshaft sensor which i have orderd and will be here thursday, here is a list which we got on neils computer when he plugged it in, can anyone tell me what these problems are and how to fix them? i would like to say the car is not 100% complete yet, doors are not on, rear lid is not on, no water in yet, charge cooler is not fully connected up and a few other little bits and bobs im sure but the major things are connected for it to start and run. P0115-coolant sensor cuircuit high input P1105-boost pressure sensor short ground P1106-boost pressure sensor test P0530-airco pressure sensor voltage high P0135-o2 heater circuit open P1530-airco relay open circuit P0135-o2 heater circuit malfunction P030-can position sensor circuit high input anyone help out with these? also would anyone know if the camshaft sensor is the same on the z20lets as it is on the c20let engines? as i could get one from a c20let engine tonight but if not i will order a new one from autovaux thank,adam

anyone know if i need to buy anything else from these codes? i would like to order tomorrow if i do or if anyone can tell me things to do to sort these fault codes please?

ha come on now neil said your helpfull on this stuff give me some info on it

It's a turbo and I know nothing about them. Sounds like a host of lambda problems and some issue on the intake side of the engine but not sure what sensors (other than the MAF) there are on the turbo. Are those generic fault code descriptions? Not sure if there are some more specific Vauxhall/Opel descriptions available. Are you sure everything is connected up in the engine bay?

thanks for the reply mate, there are some things not connected up yet, the charge cooler isnt all finished off. i will get the cam sensor on first then take it from there but thought if people may know whats up with these other codes then it would make things a little better for me

personally I would not worry too much about any of these codes until I had had every thing connected up (and since the engine is firing) that it is run up to normal temperature (preferably with a test drive), then make a note of all codes, then clear them, then run up to temperature again and see which (if any) re-appear. Many may have popped up as a result of attempting to start before all is set up. Hope this helps and it at least whittles your list down. Cf

thank you very much for that reply coral, neil did say the same sort of thing so i will do this would you know if the cam sensor is the same on a c20let? i have a few friends which strip alot of c20let cars so i will text them in the morning and collect one 1st thing if they are the same.... thanks again, adam
