I have the superior diamond quilted Hard-top version!

Ah... This is the lightweight NA version... 300g all in... Should be selling these to the hard top crowd who are looking for a weight reduction! Must make about 1bhp per tonne for some of the SC an Tubby boys

Yeah but who wants OEM parts :P, 'custom hand made parts' sound so much better, plus will be a better fit than what Vauxhall would of made

Eye and at the price I am doing them at you are certainly not paying Vauxhall prices!

At the number I am doing them at I will be lucky to make £50 profit on the lot, vauxhall would want that each!

All of a sudden the cost of material jumped with me ordering multiple amounts... so I have had to chance my arm and buy a bulk amount... Save the constant creeping of raw materials - thing is I now have enough material to make 50 of these bad boys!

I'm worried the diamond quilted version may make my VX interior resemble a padded cell! Good job you're not making them in white

Ooo... White with a touch of red stitching... yum yum.

Depending on how creative Annette gets I keep getting suggestions that VX220 should be stitched somewhere into the panels....Posted Image

Wasn't there a guy with a speedster who did his interior red and black diamond quilted? Think he ran a performance shop and it was his promo car?
secretly, I really liked it's look :)

For all those who wanted diamond pattern, this is what it will look like:

Posted Image

Additionally I haven't ironed these flat flat (so they are a bit thicker, as per the picture above) as this will possibly improve the heat retention properties. However if you do want to make them a bit thinner they an be inroned on a hot setting and the filling compresses nicely (but obviously avoid using steam).

They look great Mangham - can't wait to get it in the VX. I think I'm pinning all my hopes on one soft top liner rectifying all heat related issues in the VX! It's not been too bad, but on a cold day, you never quite feel that it's warm enough to be properly comfortable. Let me know how you want paid and I'll get the money across to you asap. Cheers, Enzo
