I'm sure there's loads more that I've forgotten.
It really is an amazing city, I absolutely loved it and hope to go back again someday.

Was just about to say the same thing - best free views going.Another thing you could do is get the ferry to Staten Island, especially because it's free. Not sure what there is to do over there, we just got the ferry over, had some lunch and then came back.
You get a really good view of the city from the ferry though.

When I was there it was still a building site but near where you catch the ferry for the statue of liberty is this huge sculpture of a globe that was on the concourse in between the 2 towers. As you can imagine it took an absolute beating when the towers came down, it's got dents and gouges all over it but they've made it into a memorial with an eternal flame nearby.What's at the former site of the WTC? Isn't there a memorial of some kind now? Could be a moving place to visit for a few minutes.
