Here you go http://vx220.ukct.net/turboears.htm Its not as easy as just removing the NA ones and putting these on but not too much involved.

The space at the backside of the clam is empty and you have no access to it, so you will just screw into 3mm of polyester.
I did the same excersise a few weeks ago, and need to change my door screw for a drywall plug.
(the type that will retract a plastic counterpart at the rear of the clam)

For now:

It's the same for the screw in the raster. There is nothing behind the clam, so you just have a few mm of polyster to work with.

As the (wider) turbo pods tend to catch more stoneschips, i wanted to make sure that the units are still removable for respray. So i used plastic constructions, that i glued into the inside, just like on the real tubby:

I used a german guide, which has a large amount of pictures:
http://www.auto-edit.../oren/guide.doc
I could not get mine out in one piece, as mentioned in the guide, so my removal was a hack sack job.

Looking good mate, i miss her so much :( the Astra VXR is alot more practical and still fun, but i miss the raw feel of the VX220

Might see me returning in a VX turbo soon!

So, couple of questions... What size Jacknut is needed for the front of the ear? (into the sill) M5? M6? How much of the old bonding needs to be removed? (used to bond the sill to the panel we remove)

Just do a bit of trial fitting when you're removing bonding.
There is only so much to remove, as the plastic raster can only fit in so deep, before the sill stops it
Also the sill polyester is only a few mil deep, so be carefull. Use file and sandpaper:
