is it simply a bigger bore, or is there more stroke involved too? (if more stroke then fook that for an unrevvy pile of laughs)
sounds good as standard engine at min, would you get the rods and pistons with that or seperate ones, plus looking for 320 bhp with harrop so would i need forged rods and pistons for 2.4 block .

ooooooooooh yeah forged internals, lightened fly wheel, cams, injectors, harrop, what ecu is recomended? flowed head? anything else need?? thanksstandard 2.4 bottom end should cope with 320bhp, but an uprated 2.2 bottom end with a harrop gets 320bhp
you are looking at £1k to import a 2.4 engine and it will need a new ecu, so £2k minimum
cheaper to uprate the 2.2

I recommend you talk to who ever you will be having map the car and see what they prefer... a) they could get you a better price and b.) they will get the best results fastest with a system they know etc...
9/10 most aftermarket ecu's do the same stuff anyway and its the calibration thats key

I am running over 310 now, I have uprated bottom end + pistons + a few other things. at the moment also changing to the z20let ecu so with s/c cams it will be in the high 300bhp would like 400 but might be a bit much

it does cost though let me tell you
