Hi all, You have to admire the tenacity of the french speedster turbo driver following the German GT3 - his mottto 'never give up' thumbsup see how many times he's bouncing on the limiter. Cheers Ian

10/10 for effort, some really good and confident driving. Great to watch can't wait to get back to the ring myself in 2011 ! Would be intresting to find out the tune level of the VX?

And did you notice, his hand brake warning light was on. Think how fast he'd have gone without the handbrake on.

Great vid chinky chinky Interesting comments from poster: Pursuing a quite badly driven Porsche. :P At 2:00 the 997 GT3 comes into play. At 2:45 another 911 goes straight at Adenauer Forst. :D At 7:55, the warning lights are on so we slow down a lot, but there's nothing. Opel Speedster Turbo 260ch, R888, Nitron.

What I find amusing in these videos is that the Porsche drivers, usually get to a straight and go "look at me!!! I have the Porsche!!! POWER!!!!" then they get to a corner and they go "WHoooooaaa there boy! no use causing an accident here! Slowly, slowly, like they teach you in driving school..." Really I'd like to see a video of a properly driven (and tuned) VX beating a properly driven GT3.

Theres a brilliant video somewhere on the interwebz from Dale Lomas (RSR/Bridge to Gantry) in his little blue MX5 being held up ridiculously by a yellow 911 GT3. Cant find it but if anyone has a link please post it! Knowledge is power.

How much more power would his vx need to sit with the porsche on the straight? he doesnt pull away that fast. Whats the other gauge on the dash?

Hi,

Couldn't quickly find a GT3 but I think a Italia 458 will do nicely, the VX belongs to Rapidos aka Ruggisante fame from Belgium and I've been out on the track at Spa with him and he's bloody quick.
