Hi All,
Just a post to let you know that my VXT with Stage 2 and Larini exhaust was 98.2 DB at 4.5K RPM. Hope this will also be OK with the drive by test too. The guys there thought so.
Would be a shame to pay and turn up only to be sent home with a car making too much noise....

I hope it is ok as bedford is a great track to learn the art of track driving.

Was this a Larini backbox only, or full system?

Did they not do the drive-by tests for you? When I went up there, the Chief Instructor took the car around (with me as a passenger 
) to check drive-by's. Passed the static tests by a long way and had some decent headroom on the drive-by's. But when I did a trackday there the next week, I was pulled in the first session for noise and told I'd have to short shift past three of the four monitors, if I wanted to stay there for the rest of the day as I was within .1dB of being kicked off. 
Drive-by limit there is the killer and only made worse if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.

Just to clarify mine is a full Larini system, not just the back box.
There was a track day in motion, so I could not get the 'Drive By' checked. The guy who checked the car static at 4.5K also checked it at 5.5K and thought it would be OK on the 'Drive By'. I'll just have to take a risk on that and hope that the wind is in the right direction...
