Sounds like an old Courtnay stage 1 conversion.

Not a Harrop, that's for sure. Dunno whether that's an MP62?

Yeah bhp wise, but look at the supercharger. That isn't the standard eaton that courtenay use for the majority of their conversions. Just surprised the car is not known on here. Nick's is the only other harroped car I can think of.....

is that a much smaller baby harrup , not the 1320? seems to have a very odd nose setup, plus some funny two piece brack to support it near the pulley (not shown)

Maybe something even smaller like the Eaton MP45.

One thing for sure, it's well overpriced.

Must be a very very early conversion. Be interesting to see what inlet manifold it uses as I'm betting it's not the one from the LSJ that we're all using nowadays.

Predates TVS chargers for sure. Maybe something off a Cooper S or Merc C180K or similar, maybe.

Be interesting to know if they have all the Courtenay documentation from the conversion? Definitely over priced and not the standard courtenay s/c conversion that is for sure!

It is indeed unique. Unique in so far as it is the least powerful SC conversion I have ever heard of.

It looks like a M62 off somthing other than a LSJ as they have a special casting that matches up with the CC manifold, as it's only got 200bhp ie not cooled, I suspect it's just got a fabricated plenum and runner manifold under there.

Must be an early one

My next upgrade will it go well in a VX220?

Looks like an older Delta motor conversion with Lysholm charger. (That last part can be a good thing...) http://www.deltamoto...SpeedsterRS.pdf

Yeah that looks like the one, hardly seems worth it £10k for an extra 40bhp. Wonder if Courtenay could tweak that further with all their experience over the last few years!

lysholm (or screw) SC should be as efficient as a TVS it just depends on the displacment as to if it will flow enough to make more power. But yes I'd think courtenay's could get more power esspecially if it's fitted with the decomp plate of the early conversions

Be interesting wouldn't it, they have done a lot of work since then. Add a CC to start with decomp plate, smaller pulley mmmmmm

that is one of the first courtenay sc conversions, I've seen another one in a 2.2 corsa, they then swapped to the GM set up with a piggyback ecu and two extra injectors before finally using just a remap and bigger injectors
