I have just found my 'Daggle Adapter'. This is a machined piece of aluminium that smooths the flow of air into the OEM K04 turbo. It take 10 mins to install by taking off the rubber pipe that feeds the turbo, place it on the fat lip of the turbo and put the rubber pipe back on.
I expect these things are rarre now that Daggles is no longer making them or even visits the forum.
