Looks like the tiny little alternator AtomX has to go on his project car.

Not really up on electrics tbh, does this have enough oomph to charge the standard battery or is it only really intended for use with a race one?

Steve, buy one and fit it and let us know if its fit for purpose and easy enough to install :) Important practicalities are: 1: Will the OEM electrical connector plugs in the loom simply fit it ? 2: Is the belt width for the roller the same as OEM ? 3: Will it physically mount with the adapters given onto the Z20LET ? I've lifted off the OEM alternator and it is bloody heavy, apporx 5 Kg at a wild guess.

Not me, not sure it can be done that easily on the z22se, but definitely looks like a good update for the (heavy) Z20LET

Umm, all VXTs do have EGRs. They are located on the left of the head as you look at the engine bay from the rear. If you look at a VXT exhaust manifold, you will see the the end cylinder has a larger runner with a hole in it to pass gas back along the side of the cylinder head to a 'secret' tube that is cast into the inlet manifold and exits into the throat of the inlet manifold.

Interestingly, Z20LEH engines don't have the same inlet manifold (I have a couple under my bench), yet have the valve itself still on the head.

You can see the 'secret' casting tube on the left most runner in this pic.

And you can see the EGR unit itself on the left of my worked head here.
