Has anyone not liked RC5+? Anyone had excessive disc wear using them?
mot test said the fronts pads were low, but a years use is what I expected with mileage and track use I do. When I replaced them they really were okay in my eyes, maybe just one corner set a bit close, will keep them as spares.
re:disk wear , nothing unusual checking with my micrometer , if anything much more consistent in the temperature and much less cementite on this set of disks

I've had both with standard discs. RC6 are vicious, I really noticed the difference over RC5+. RC6 seemed to have more initial bite if you like and I'm on the brakes for a shorter time. Overheated the RC5+, not been able to do that with the RC6. RC6 are very noisy though, they rattle in the calipers, haven't been able to stop that. They sound like metal on metal when you use them and the squeal when you put the brakes on when reversing is earsplitting

, they really hack into the discs too but they last ages. Lots of metal filings on the wheels!!!!!
Mark, how did you find removing brake dust with the RC6s ? I've got PFs on the front and those wheels are now knackered due to evil brake dust tbh but thinking of replacing the worn RC5s on the rear with RC6s next time. Not quite ready to do PF all round and destroy my rears too!

Cheaper than a set of pads so dont worry about it. Prices vary where ever you go but theres loads of places just google somewhere close to you. I paid £50 a wheel + vat last time and that was for matt black td's which are harder to refurb because of the lacquer going shiny. No point getting the wheels refurbed until you change pads. Your car is mainly a track car anyway so get over it
HOW fcuking MUCH!!!
i pay £1 per inch here.. regardless of finish, if i want two tone paint its £1.50 per inch
