My selector is a bit annoying as it hits the surround going into second and I feel it could be a bit better, hence me wanting to adjust it. I've looked at the TIS and it provides these wise words "Position transmission in neutral. Cable settings – loosen nuts (1) and adjust cables." All very good but not very useful as I'm sure there's more to it. Anny handy hints? TIA

Look at the cable ends, there are ball joints... there will be a lock nut at the join from the balljoint to the cable, slacken off and twist the cable or pop the balljoint and spin that. relock and done.

Thanks slindborg thought you might know about this subject. Is a case of trial and error. i.e. adjust, have a wiggle go back and try again?
