OK, So I've done the usual searches (maybe I'm using the wrong keywords) but I can find naddo info on the high level brake light. Mines foobared :angry2: Does anybody have one knocking about? or is it a Corsa one perhaps?

Is there no light at all or have just some of the diodes stopped working? If its all black then it might just be the connector...

There is a connector on the cable on the left side behind the plastic panel behind the seats. Check that first before you remove everything...

Oh, and there is another connector close to the light unit right under the aerial.

Cheers people, It's completely blank....but the plastic lens has parted company with the unit itself, so I'm guessing its goosed by rain ingress Meldert, I'll see if I can check the connectors anyway thumbsup

mine stopped working last year (also water getting in a I guess) and there was no way I was going to pay £60 let alone £120, for a new one. If you open it up, on the board that the diodes are soldered to there is a tiny square resistor. That is the weak link (very thin legs that corrode)clean it up, blob of solder and some hot glue to water proof the resistor, and all was good again.

Mine died a while back and I initially soldered some replacement white LED's into the housing (using the pcb as a base) which I posted up a guide to, however I replaced the discrete components recently with a waterproof LED strip I got from a UK supplier on ebay for less than a fiver.....my sort of running costs.

Item was 220664136753 description was "Red Flexible bright led strip Sidelight & Rear light UK"

You can cut this down to fit into the housing and reseal the lens assy. This was better than the quote of £70ish I had from Lotus dealer .
