Hi it’s been a long time, but I’ve never left. I have a 2.2 almost since new, had a few thousand miles on it from being used as demonstration car by garage. Had great fun for a few years. Just the normal problems. Well over 10 years ago I decided to park it up with the idea of upgrading bits, nothing big just changing steel brackets to SS or putting coloured hoses on. Then a respray. Well never got round to it. Since then prices have gone down and back up. My question is should I do it up or sell. Since it hasn’t moved it will need more done now. Timing chain, disks but it was working fine. Can’t remember but probably done just under 30k. So it’s hopefully something people would like. Keep or sell Mmmm. I an engineer so working on it should be fun, but getting old is a pain.

I suspect prices are now as low as they're going to be - well, they might dip a bit in the short term - I see some absolute bargains around.
Based on my experience with my Integrale, there was a period where they just weren't worth anything then they just started climbing once the kids stopped buying them. Loads were written off (rust, crashes, too expensive to repair) so the pool was much smaller and then values just climbed. And climbed. And climbed. I sold mine for £4k (albeit 20+ years ago) and it's now worth £50k+. It was a good one too. Hindsight and all that.
Feels like there's quite a few VX's SORN that perhaps won't see light of day again. As of the end of Q4, there were twice as many VX220 Turbo's SORN as taxed. Seasonality at play for sure but you get the idea.

It might take a while for the VX values to increase seriously - perhaps 5 or 10+ years - but I think values will climb.
