Finally got the first ears back from the GRP guys molds obviously taken from an original pair (thanks cocopops!)

Now because we have this issue of the inners being very expensive and just about impossible to make out of glassfibre I had a think and came up with the idea of making the ears with an OEM look mesh that is very close to the front/rear grille mesh. The cost difference is minimal and if you wanted the OEM inserts you can simply chop off the bits you dont need and glue the OEM inserts in.

A few pics:

Group buy prices are as follows:

Ears as pictured with mesh inserts (they come supplied glued into position) £100

Ears ready for OEM inserts to be glued in £85

Delivery of either option £9

If you want a pair stick your name down and I will contact you with payment details. I'll let this run until mid week and I'll need to get the order in then as they close for nearly 2 weeks at Christmas. Delivery will be around the week before Christmas.

Any questions fire away!

Just the mesh on its own? They just get it from an autofactors. I got some for my speedster from my local one too the standard mesh size is a great match for the VX.

Would be nice to some painted and fitted. I have been toying with the idea of removing the standard slats and fitting mesh.

I'll stick the order in back end of the week. Don't forget if you have the mesh ones the OEM inserts can be retro fitted if you change your mind.
