So after the various horror stories of failed toe links, Im wanting to get some new ones. I was wondering if anyone knew the part numbers for them, for the 2.2? Also, are there any other bits that I should be looking at replacing at the back end when Im down there? Is it an easy job to fit? Thanks

Group Buy?

I've arranged for Yvo of EliseShop to sort a deal out for us.
Details as below. Down to £189.95+VAT instead of the normal £204.95+VAT :)

I do have an account but for some reason I wasn't able to get in earlier.

Anyway, always happy to do something. We can offer our kits at £189.95 + VAT
As this is over £75 you'll get free shipping in UK excluding Islands and Highlands.

You can find the deal here: http://www.elise-sho...y-p-502323.html

Offer valid till 14/02/2012

We have about 15 kits in stock at the moment. A new batch of 50 is expected to arrive next week, so we should be able to get them out fairly quick.

Working on some other very interesting VX projects as well :D

EliseShop is marginally cheaper @ £204.95+VAT, EliseParts is £212.46+VAT Others options? If there are enough of us, we ought to be able to get a kit below £200 surely? :)

Be very very sure about which version of the outer joints you need. It's not as simple as NA are one type and Turbo are another.

Actually, for the 10-20 quid saved, it might not be such a good idea having a group buy. Given the fact that Eliseparts say there are a few different versions, and want a photo of the inboard and outboard rod ends, it might get a bit confusing?

So I make that 5 sets so far.... 1. Nicol Low - ?? 2. CocoPops - NA (According to pics?) 3. Mbes2 - Turbo (Guessing) 4. ChrisS1 - ?? 5. Yaaan - ?? (NA Turbo, linked to "uprights" apparently, rather than car type).

Well, I'm sure that a supplier would be happy to get a job lot of Toe Link kits and be able to sell them with very little effort :) I'm happy to make the calls if you wanted? Just didn't want to start calling and overload them/confuse matters :)

No worries... Ive never really done a group by before and dont want to end up with a pile of stuff that doesnt fit is all... :P Happy to phone and put the feelers out though

Is it better to go for the Eliseparts ones, or the Eliseshop? No doubt they are both the same when it comes down to it, but anyone know who is better to deal with for group buy stuff?

I've just pointed Muncher to this thread, he looked after the last Spitfire Engineering group buy, so might be able to help.

I've just replaced mine and now worrying that I've got the wrong ones. Mine was a very early NA, I ordered a replacement NA kit (OEM) and its slightly different, bolt thread size and a bit chunkier, but surely if its the right part no. then its all good?

Mine looked the same as Coco'pops & I replaced with 93178112

correct part number for NA (majority of NAs).
