I do have an account but for some reason I wasn't able to get in earlier.

Anyway, always happy to do something. We can offer our kits at £189.95 + VAT
As this is over £75 you'll get free shipping in UK excluding Islands and Highlands.

You can find the deal here: http://www.elise-sho...y-p-502323.html

Offer valid till 14/02/2012

We have about 15 kits in stock at the moment. A new batch of 50 is expected to arrive next week, so we should be able to get them out fairly quick.

Working on some other very interesting VX projects as well :D

Great, thanks for that!! I take it that seeing as Ive got a 2003 NA, if I buy an NA version then its guaranteed to fit?

Any other info on the other VX projects, or are you going to leave us hanging?!?!? :P

Are these kits a simple direct replacement and do you need any special tools?

Drill, maybe a rivet gun if the new inboard bracket is riveted and not bolted on and a couple of sizes of spanner/sockets.

You don't have to fit the bracket, its just better if you do.

NA does indeed fit your car (the inserts for NA and Turbo are in the kit, so there's no need to be nervous about the selection :)) The kits are direct replacements for the OE kits, apart from a normal toolbox you don't need any special tools. //Sorry, you're right some cars came with subframes w/o any holes or holes without thread so you may need to drill holes. We strongly recommend to use the brackets, the brackets put the toe links in double sheer which does make things stronger (which is exactly what you buy the kit for)

I (Well Rob has it still) have a 2nd hand set like that if someone is more than willing to offer me money for :) As a side note, I'm a touch confused as to how a 1mm thin plate held on by rivets or even Mtiny bolts can add anything to the sheerness of a joint that runs through chassis thickness metalwork.... Winstarrrrrrrr provide me with some mech engineeringness please

The reason why it helps is because you put the bolt in double sheer. In other words, the bolt cannot tilt when you pull it. When you pull a bolt (just like it would be when you don't use the bracket) you are pulling it from the top so you get a lever effect. When you hold the bolt under the head and in the subframe you need a substantially bigger force to bend it. Although it may look very simple, the 2mm plated metal bracket with it's 5 rivets will make a difference of several 1000 Newtons!

They're being assembled right now and will arrive in the UK office this Friday thumbsup We will leave this offer open till the end of next week (12-2-2012)

What other special group buys can you offer Yvo? ;) Often forgotten behind our Elise counterparts, but just as keen for deals and upgrades!

you're not being forgotten, it's just that we have our hands pretty full with all the new stuff we're doing :)

Later today or tomorrow we will introduce a new kind of heatshielding. Pretty revolutionary stuff (ultralight, thin and it actually works 10 times better than Nimbus. I've tried it here and couldn't believe what I saw)

Will be introduced here:
http://www.elise-sho...t-c-43_106.html
......we will do an introduction offer. thumbsup
