Some have gotten older and spend time on families.

The younger generation feels more comfortable asking tyres and brake questions on facebook.
Same on the other speedster/vx220 forums.

Facepack is where it's at now. Owners seem to prefer being there so that when the same questions come up again and again and again they can knowledgeably chime in with an answer rather than, god forbid, the question asker actually using the internet to find the answer in the first place.

Yep, and it also makes them feel good because they then get the attention that they crave for

It is funny when posters on facepalm ask a question and then get told to look at a link and read it up for themselves, many go off the rails 'you mean I have to actually do something! Don't you know who I am!'

To be fair it’s been the same on here. It’s now a qualification taught at schools - “how to be lazy”

I wouldnt bother... Many of us are culling and pruning back these days and its only weapons grade doodahs who are in the "growth and ME ME ME" sort of remit.

Have blocked Faecesbook on the firewall at home (though I've had to give the wifes mobile phone access for peace and quiet) and at the office (productivity has increased up there). If it's being talked about on Faecesbook or Fcukwitter, I'd rather not know about it let alone get involved in it. Just wish BBC News would ignore it too and go back to real reporting, instead of just being driven by whatever is most read at any particular time and reporting on that.

There is some use for facepants, there seems to be a fair bit of trading activity on there, I have bought and sold a few good bits for my cars over the years. Also handy for seeing meets coming up etc. I don't use it for chatter though, I do not post photos of my dinner or pictures of my legs on a beach for instance - the latter would probably lead to a ban from the site anyway.

I have changed to 4-pots and the braking is massively improved and the feeling of the pedal is just great compared to OEM.

Have to mention that the supercharger is superior to one of those heavy turbolumps as well.

And I always put Castrol GTX 5W-45W in my engine. The best oil there is.

Irridium spark plugs are sh*t.

Facebook is fine if you read it on the day - but I actually prefer .org it just needs a decent owner to revitalise it and integrate it with other stuff. Plenty of other forums survive without having to be on Shitbook.

Well I tried.

One of those used to p*ss off at least a couple of people.

Maybe we just have gone old and lazy.

On the other hand isn´t it the old bastard that gets upset about everything?
