[Boss VX]

Im in the process of designing some products for the VX220 and I am keen to do some market research to gauge how many to make. I need to know how many Vx's were made and sold (Worldwide ideally). All I know is there were 65ish VXR's. I have tried the society of motor manufaturers and traders - but they want £250 for membership! Maybe vauxhall would help or possibly the Insider? Any ideas out there

On the issue of total numbers, weren't lotus comittioned to build a total of 10,000

Edited to add: That number would be 'total'...ie, speedsters, na's, turbo's and vxr's (so 10,000 chassis i suppose)

You got it, I found it by searching for Delorian as I remembered that had something to do with it

VX220 LY: 100
VX220 Turbo: 4500
VXR220: 65/62?

uk estimate:
VX220 NA: 2750
VX220 LY: 100

I thought there was something like 6000 in the Uk???? i thought BUT cant find where thats what was written on a post a while ago.... but i like the idea of my car being 1 of 2750!!! although the remaining number probably stands nearer 2000.... What products are you designing???

Would love to tell you but would then have to kill you
On a serious note - i must keep it a bit quiet as the manufacturing costs will put me in real financial danger - i cant have some company come along and copy things. Sure enough, just before i pull the trigger i will post pics of the prototypes and gauge everyones opinion before i take the plunge. Plenty of work still to do mind. Wont be a big earner but keeps me busy!

Its not a glass fibre kit to make my VX look like that Fezza in your avatar is it, a la MR2 kits??
