The drive back to Cardiff down the A470 wasn't too shabby either apart fro the odd dawdler :-)

haha glad you had a good time mate.
i haven't done it in a while,
betwys y coed area is where i tend to go now, near snowdonia etc
some ace roads there,scenery too!

Yeah, I stayed in Blaenau Ffestiniog which seemed to work quite welll location wise as a base.
