If it doesn't flush first time you put the lid down. Warns the next person that a big floater lurks beneath. Simple toilet etiquette.

Quite right. Let's face it there is no other good reason for a bloke to put the toilet lid down.

Thanks, I have repaired myself before but this is visible from the side so needs colour matching and a better job than I can do I think!

slogging in a hot garden today - got to 4.00pm realised low on tinnies. Oh No!. Is there anywhere open? Call on the beer hunter! Jumps into topless VX, scours the land for beer. Sainsburys sorted :-) 4 x 15 packs of australias finest wallaby p$%s. Evening salvaged :-)

Cheers. The only major worry I have is one of te shocks looked a tiny bit moist and they look like the original Bilstein's (car is 2003). Hope it's not leaking.

I am taking it to the guy who does work on my shed. He is related through marraige (brother of brother-in-law) and a friend. He has invited me to be present during the MOT so I can see what he does.
