yeah, soilid state drive. basically a hard drive that doesnt have moving parts and runs a lot quicker, cooler, quieter. It's the tech used in SD memory cards etc. Very strong and very fast! can't believe what a difference it's made.

had my OS on a 128gb ssd for last 18months. fantastic bit of kit. it's now full and still boots within 40secs!

Nice! That's what i've done, just put all the Apps and OS on the SSD so quick!
