IT Security team decided they ned to control the sroot password for a new server we're installing. We allowed them to change it...they then forgot it. Aye well done. Commenceth root password recovery by us anyway.

    They are the safe place! I work in a large banking group. Security is down to group poicy its not something I have a say over. But they're stil able to fk it up!

    Bang a root level account in there on the sly, cat out the pwd file before they get to it and switch the files once they are done :)
