If I had toggle switches instead of the normal ones I think I'd end up accidentally kicking them off. The billet aluminium ones look ok though - not enough for me to bother changing them though.

I think that's safe to say. thumbsup

The push button switches VXed linked to are passable as at least they would potentially tie in to the starter switch style. Personally, I look at the switches twice each journey, once to turn the headlights on and once to turn them off when the car gets parked up. Apart from when I've been at the MOT, I've never even touched the rest of them.

i'm after something to stop them reflecting in my door glass at night, if you have never noticed you will now

just thought a toggle with out a light would slove my issues thumbsup

Remember, you need the light switches to be illuminated or have tell tales for the MOT, so don't do anything too permanent. thumbsup

Mount light up toggles so they point downwards when they are on. That way they shouldn't reflect thumbsup I think they will look good. Seriously tempted by the alu ones (although spending £100 on light switches seem extravagent to say the least! )

I have a small piece of black adhesive tape (kind of like window tinting film) over the light on the main headlight switch - the only one I really use.

The tape, just light window tinting film, is not completely opaque, so it's still lets the coloured light through for MOT purposes and also so you know the switch is on.

I would be happy to pay those amounts, then use a plate like edel parts does.
Then in the back a mechanism, that puts pins straight into the black/brown/black/blue/green connectors, making it fully reversable, thus resellable if needed.

Oh god, what have I started? I had wondered whether it was just possible to pull the unit out and rewire to the S1 light switch unit in and be done. Might just have to get hold of an S1 unit and have a look and see what could be done, if anything.

My plan exactly.... now just to find a suitable backing plate as I have the switches and the sitckers required to complete :D

thumbsup I have that switch - direct replacement for the old one. I didn't wire in the blue lighting though purely because of the "annoying reflections" factor.

Would be fine it it switched off once the engine was running... but that would probably be a PITA to sort.

Yes it's a direct swap. I had one like that myself at one point, swapped the blue LED for a green and had it on a timed out delay along with the interior light. I've changed all my light switches to the same style linked to above.
