I can't decide if he's being serious or not  who would actually read that and think you'd offered them 2p for their car?

hahaha is the reason your best offer is only 2p because you only have 2p and thats why you got a 220 and not the turbo

oh well maybe if you ask nicely santa might bring you a turbo for christmas

Rob333 - instead of such facetious remarks, why not just answer the questions about the car that you're trying to sell?

Hi Chris,

Yes it is that car and it was sat next to a mint DB9 when i went up to look at it and eventually purchased it, The guy said all the miles went on the red one which it looks like you purchased from him. As a result this car had very few miles on it

he seemed like a realy nice genuine guy and was sorry to see this yellow one go

Rob

Cool, glad to hear he got the Aston - he was talking about an Aston or a 911 of some form when we bought the red one. He told us he preferred the N/A to the turbo, and that's why it had a bit more miles (6,500 in like 6 years or something!)
I got the impression the yellow was a bit to 'in your face' for him!

He also spoke about driving a good distance from the car in front to avoid stone chips, and drove it oh so carefully on the way out on the test drive.

I agree he was a nice genuine guy and was also sorry to see the red one go, I got the feeling that a vx wasn't really the car for him though, with something more refined suiting him better. We spoke a lot about why he bought 1 (never mind 2!) as we turned up to view it in my Elise S1.
Still, his loss is our gain - or someone else's as you're selling it ;)

Chris

All seems a bit strange to me? If I was to buy I would want a lot of questions answered.

I agree. These are serious questions. So are you related to Rob666 or not? And Is Rob999 your dad?

No mention of service history?

Hello,

The car has been stored for the last five years by the previous owner and has now got 1750 miles on the clock ( as I have been out playing today )
as a result the previous owner never had the car serviced but the after speaking to the local dealer I have been quoted £250 for a full service on this car replacing all the fluids and doing a full check on all the components to ensure that everything is as would be both needed and expected on this car.

If there are any genuine people out there who are looking for a really clean, low mileage car that is like brand new then please dont hesitate to contact me where I am sure a deal could be done

Thanks for your time and thanks for taking the time to have a look at my car

The cambelt will need replacing. Once every 4 years on a Turbo. Did the dealer tell you that or price it up for you?

Both double bank holiday weekends have now been and gone and what great weekends they were. I have used this car over both of the double bank holidays and really enjoyed some trouble free roof off driving and as i result the car has now got 2,500 miles on the clock.

So in the first 5 years of it's life it's done 1,6000 miles and then in the last two and a bit weeks you've added 900 to the total.....at the same time you are trying to sell.....with the main USP being it's low miles. Interesting logic.

Exactly what I was thinking, that and doing 900 miles in a car thats not been serviced for 5 years and never had a cam belt change...

I know what you're thinking. "Can it do 500 or 600 miles before it goes?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a VXT the most powerful car in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
