I would say any other trackday with no overtaking rules tends to get pull more experienced people.
As i can't get insured for those, i'm stuck with LOT and bookatrack.

Who would they be then?

TBH, trackdays are trackdays. I think smiley is refering more to Action days or Test days which are essentially race days with no official structure.

Hey Steve,
Action Days is what Castle Combe call a "pay as you go" type event where you can pay for just a session at a time (much like Japfest). Everybody attends a briefing and overtaking rules are in place.

Test Days requires a car to be scrutineered in an existing and current race event. You need a race licence too thumbsup

Maybe i took the wrong assumption here, as i've never driven on UK trackdays. Was under the impression there's only 2 kinds; one with overtake rules like LOT and bookatrack, and one with general trackday rules, which give much more freedom on overtaking, which can be intimidating, being overtaken while doing a corner, especially on open for all trackdays, where people with 300 pound cars show up.

LOL Smiley - just realised you're in the Netherlands - might you be refering to Rikli Trackdays? some cracking vids on Youtube demonstrating the "high standard" of driving on their days. Unfortunately you won't find UK operators running days like that

ROFL!
Wouldn't catch me out there either! Good to watch the carnage unfold though!

Yup. Castle Combe do 20 minute sessions for £25 (or something like that) that's what they call Action Days. So a similar concept. Although the ones I have done have there (Run by Motorsport Events) had slightly better driving standards thumbsup

Looks like there was a lot of diesel on the track. I take it they were all running on bridgestones too? :gayfight:
