Fantastic!! I'm sure I'd seen this done to a Europa before but couldn't find the pictures. I think they may have had a cardboard printout to cover the windscreen when parked up for the full "eyes". As a calypso owner I'd like to say keep those templates... got to be worth thinking about for the next Le Mans trip ;)

I was dreading seeing the finished article Mike but that does look brilliant. I think what was worrying me was if you'd gone for the whole grinning mouth thing. The flash and sponsor logo's look excellent and will draw even more looks parked up in the paddock at the Time Attack races. thumbsup How was the M25 this morning, with it on?

Not that many reactions at all which surprises me but no Gareth Hunt waves. A couple of people taking photos on the move and a few thumbs up.

Absolutely brilliant - Almost makes me want to get a red one. My son is 2.5, in the last year I must have seen that film about 100 times, not that I am complaining - I actually went to the cinema to see it way before the son even existed! Cars2 is going to be his first cinema trip later this year!

That is genuinely the coolest thing I have EVER seen. Can I claim first dibs if you ever come to sell? Ideally its in a few years when I can run a VX as a second car :) I actually can't describe how jealous I am of that car :P

Me too, we watched it at the cinema when it first came out way before Oliver was born.

Got stalked all the way home tonight as well.

I noticed I was being followed on the M1 by a silver people carrier which came off with me at Junc 9. I knew it was following as they kept pointing and talking amongst themselves. They followed me all the way down the A5 and followed me right as I turned up towards my house.

I nailed it in the 60 hoping to lose them but they kept catching me up as I slowed to 30mph for the villages. They followed me into my village and even into my road which is a Cul-d-sac. At this point I am getting worried as I have no way out.

I stopped at the top of the road where my wife and son were walking home and had a quick chat and I could see the car at the bottom of my road looking at me.

I drove down to the garage and they then drove up the road and stopped and talked to my wife.

Bit freaky but it turns out one of the kids in the car is a huge Lightning McQueen fan and made his parents take the best part of an 8 mile detour to look at the car.

They had a look round, two kids sat in the car and Dad took photos, they were made up.
