Insurance For A Cat C Repaired?

Did they actually ask you if the car was written off? As Savvy says this isn't something insurers usually even ask and I'm sure they are duty bound to ask you anything that is going to impact your cover.


Maybe its hidden in that small print that we always go over with a fine tooth comb :rolleyes: (or should I say, we just scroll to the bottom and click 'accept'), it probably says "you must inform if its been classified as insurance writeoff"?

Just had a look through my policy documents, no mention of previously written off cars whatsoever, the only related clause I can find under "What is not covered" is "Any reduction in valuve of your car following damage whether it was repaired or not", which basically means they can reduce the value of your car if its been damaged before.
