Yes, loads, and they are surprisingly compliant.

Problem for me is that I use the car for maybe 10 track days a year and then 5K road miles with the odd euro trip. My car is already quite compromised when it comes to road driving (Nitrons with hard valving, poly WB bushes and A048's). I find these days I am less interested in driving it on the road due to it's harshness. I wouldn't want to rose joint the wishbones to push it over the edge and make me only want to drive it on track. I really want something that can stand up to a good hammering on track but give some sort of compliance on the road.

Then stick to stock, or maybe the seriously lotus ones which are the same as stock but slightly stiffer.

Can we talk cost? Cost to convert the wishbones (all 8) to rose joint specification plus spacers, plus rose joints... Ball Park Figure? I have poly bushes and my wishbones are a shite site freer than a VX220 that I worked on recently that was running standard and original and very worn bushes.

JSRacing ones about £400
Nitron ones about £460

Nitron and JSR kits are very similar... back in the day, Sean who is part of JSR worked out the bearing sizes and did the leg work on his car, he then told me about how well it worked and I did a kit and included the rubber seals then handed that design over to Nitron as I'm not really kitted out for manufacturing in any quantity. Nitron now use a different bearing from the same suppliers who do their damper rose joints and JSR use a Fluro joint which is what I still run on my car. I don't think there is any real difference in performance or quality, the Nitron kit looks prettier as nitron are good at it but that's about it.

If only I had £450 spare, Nitron would be getting a call this afternoon.

I would suggest rose joints every time for track cars and OE every time for road cars.

DING!!

I think my car was one of the ones that struggled to properly geo thanks to sticky wishbone syndrome  These were on SuperPro. Strange as the kit I did before (on my old VXR) dropped in no problem and moved so freely and was easy to geo/setup! I spoke to this to SuperPro directly at Brands Hatch but they had no real answers for me..... Odd that Nitron didn't stick with the Fluro joint as they use Fluro bits on the toe links.... Must be down to cost then I guess.

Sounds like Phil in the vid :(

Martin S has just had a SuperPro kit fitted and his wishbones moved OK as well. Still, I would love the Nitron kit if it were within my meagre budgets.

I think it's luck of the draw fella, or they get worse over time... Bargi's were stiff as hell at Le Mans when I checked for him. I'm guessing they were fine when they went in....

They were tight when they went in but they did move. I have spoken a lot to Steffan and Jez at Back on Track about this and what happens is the mounts on the chassis get crimped when the car is first built so when fitting poly bushes the mounts need to be opened up a bit before fitting the wishbones back in. Not too bad on the six that slot straight in but a bugger on the upper fronts that need castor washers fitted. Can often be so tight that it seems impossible to fit all four castor washers but they need to go in.

Just to clarify this, we have had to refit the correct number of castor washers on a number of cars after they have had been incorrectly refitted with not enough! I have seen a number of upper front wishbones fitted incorrectly causing the chassis mounts to be crushed. They THEN need to be opened back up and done correctly.
