I have just given Courtenays a call in order to book in my VX for a smaller pulley and a set of VXR injectors (and a remap) and they cannot get the VXR injectors anymore. This leaves me having to try and source them myself, however I'm not sure exactly which ones I'm looking for. Does anyone have any details, like a part number?

They are Bosch part number 280156280, 14.5 Ohm, 470 cc/min at 3 bar, 90 degree spray angle, Jetronic connector.

Have a look on the MIG and Astra owners club websites, they usually have a few people selling them.

Did they say why they couldn't get them? Fall our with their supplier or did they say that Vauxhall can't get them? If it's the latter, I'll be able to get to the bottom of it.

Can you get the injectors as a set on the fuel rail? Think it works out cheaper from what others have mentioned.

That's the tricky one.

55556798 - In EPC it says 'Injector, regulator and distributor - assembly' but it's half the price of
£102+VAT (Retail £121+VAT). But, it's have the price of 4 injectors? And you get a free fuel rail? Sounds mad.

...but not outside the realms of possibility.

Allegedly, Vauxhall cocked up the pricing of the complete fuel rail, regulator and 4 injectors and made it much much cheaper than buying the individual components separately. There must be thousands of surplus fuel rails and regulators knocking around Europe as everybody has been buying them as the complete kit when they only needed the injectors. I even know some VW and Audi people that bought the Vauxhall kit for upgrading their engines.

Sounds like the one, can you source them?

Courtenays said that the GM supplier didn't have any in stock and wasn't sure if/when they'd be able to get them in again!

They're correct. 160 units due in Germany on 6th June Posted Image.

Only thing is, 400 units have been ordered by people Posted Image

They're still available to order, and injectors themselves are available in Luton.

Are the injectors specific for the VXR, or just standard spec Bosch blue 470cc injectors?? Is the nozzles/spray pattern specific? If not there are many sets listed on ebay, but not as VXR injectors.

From the Vauxhall end of things, they're Z20LEH VXR (Astra and Zafira VXR) specific. I really don't know if they're anything kinky, but I doubt it.

It may be possible to get technical info if it's any help.

The so called 'blue Astra VXR' injectors are made by Bosch and are used in a variety of other cars, so they are not specific to the Z20LET by any means.

If you want full techinical info, go to my website: My link , then download the injector info spreadsheet - there are several hundred injectors listed with all their specs.
