This looks great. Are these for trackers only, or are they suitable for road use too? chinky chinky

I'd be interested, but would probably have to wait until I get my Xmas bonus. My feeling on all these group buy things is that most people take some time to save up, but the people organising/signing up wanting the wheels with the shortest lead times with the money waiting are only a small fraction of the people that would buy the product within the next 3-6months or so, so they always falter due to 'lack of interest', however products that are available for long periods of time will sell much more (in this case td's, which are not that much cheaper than these). If this is true then someone takes on a lot of risk to order a quantity of stock up front, or everybody needs to wait longer and you accept that some people will get impatient and find alternatives. just my 2p's worth. Really hope this happens though!

indeed, and no doubt if i went and bought 50 sets, eventually they would sell. it is a £30k+ gamble though. And since there is no profit to be made, its not a particularly sound investment.

That's a pricey gamble. If it were a case of it happening at some point or not at all, I may be able to have my arm twisted. Think they look a lot smarter than the TDs.

With savings rates being really crap at the mo, (the best you can get is 5% if you tie yourself in for a few years and then that is taxed) if you added £50 onto each set and then sold them over 2/3 years it would actually be a reasonable return!

I'm looking for new wheels right now and will have a set of these over TD's if they are available shortly.

I was looking for some ATS-DTC but they are not available in black at this time. So I looked a bit further and was happy to find this treat. Whatever size this group-buy would be, I am intrested in a set ! Hope this will give this treat also a bump.
