If I recall it was 12.7 and 4.6 secs 0 to 60. I think he was running his at 330 bhp?

I would have thought it would have been a lot quicker with that conversion. Maybe traction issues? Also is the vag engine heavier than a VX one ?

My Ed30 engine (when in my Ed30) was 330bhp after a Stage2 bluefin map, intake and exhaust. Very easy engine to get power from.... almost makes you wonder what DG is up to

Power side of things sorted - setup for about 370-380bhp, need some fine tweaking on the rollers when the supporting hardware bits are put on As Luke has stated, work have done him over in royal fashion and unable to fund finishing the project just yet. Not been for me to say really but main reason for delay. Sure after some pole dancing Luke will be back Got another one in that will finish off in the mean time so not going to be bored Vag engine & box heavier than the n/a lump but am confident the end over weight is about on par with a stage 4 VXT if not a touch lighter DG

Funny you should ask as I was speaking to Luke this week and is now in a position to fund finishing the conversion

 

The other one is at bare tub ready to be built back up after a very through clean up and deal with corrosion, subframe getting sprayed tonight ready for build up over weekend - lots of little extra jobs with replacing fuel line in bad condition but the owners over to play also and looking forward to it

 

Mounts & brackets done

Custom 3" exhaust done

ECU work done

Fancy clutch and flywheel upgrade ready

CC setup almost done

Both clams off for body shop

Lotus 2-11 complete shifter sorted - no mods needed for vag box

Fancy parts on the shelf inc - brand new uprated wishbones all round / nitron 46 / uprated HPFP / pro alloy bigger tank (old one out) - the list is looong

 

Not really going to be updating the thread with the work done so far on the 2nd and will post a load of stuff once done

 

My 2nd child now 5 weeks old has colic bad so the more time I can get at work and in the garage atm the better an hid from the 2 year old - sleep is overated
