Its been sat in my mates garage for a couple of months where by moving it in oit for other work it ran out of petrol & now after refilling it wont start again!! It has a couple of fault codes which are.. Injector circuit open cylinder 1 (p0201) Injector circuit open cylinder 3 (p0203) Injector circuit open cylinder 4 (p0204) Injector circuit open cylinder 2 (p0202) Evaporative emission purge control valve circuit (p0443) o2 sensor heater circuit (bank 1,sensor 1) (p0135) o2 sensor heater circuit (bank 1,sensor 2) (p0141) Could all this be caused by sucking up poo from the bottom of the tank & blocking the pump or the filter? There is no fuel being pumped as i have disconnected the fuel line by the expansion tank with the ignition turned, i also dont think i can here the fuel pump at all. Help! cheers Liam

have you tried pressing the cut off switch in the boot to see if that makes a difference?

relay K18 (in boot) or fuse FL4 (under windscreen), these power all the above circuits

Also, I had a gotcha after running out of fuel. Filled up from jerry can but wouldnt start, commenceth flap attack and much confusion.......second jerry can full eventuall put in. Fired first time. I assume your mates garage is level. But assume its something simple first.

After swapping the relay with one from the front it fired up, run it a few times since and all fine. But problem has come back so did the relay swap again but still wont fire up! Anything else it could be?

So you probably have fuel just no spark? Worth checking all earthing points on the cam cover,ay be get some of those spark plug lights that go between plugs and coil pack only about 15-20£ from halfords

do you get fuel to the rail? I believe there is a valve which you can open on the rail which will give you an idea if pressure is there. Opening this valve will bleed any air in the system too.

You don't need to bleed a fuel system... If there is pressure fuel will squirt out. Use a rag over the valve to stop it going everywhere... You could have a blocked filter though. Try putting a full tank in too, as it may be sucking on empty again...

What's that little bleed valve thingy for then?

did you use a grey relay instead of the brown one ?

if yes then thats probably the problem, they have a different internal circuit arrangement

I dout using the bleed valve will do anything. Vocky, i replaced the grey relay with a grey one with the same part number. I dont or didnt have any brown relays in the boot, just brown sticker on one of the relay block connector?

It's a pressure release value to de-pressurise the system when you need to take the fuel lines off for example.
