The design shown on the 1st page had a number of issues; the parts were difficult to source, and were of variable quality so unfortunately some people ended up with radiators that leaked. I couldn't continue to sell a unit that leaked so as soon as I heard that there was more than one leak I redesigned the unit to what you see here. due to the quality of the parts used the price is now £320 with the mesh and £310 without. I will create a new group buy page this weekend and import the current list for members to confirm if they still want the unit.

Can you confirm how much the fitting will be?

£150, and approximately 3 hours of your time. £120 if you turn up with the tools to remove your stereo or stereo already removed.

There's nothing I can do about the part cost i'm afraid, this unit is much higher quality than the original and that's directly because of the quality and cost of the parts used.

As for fitting. Each fitting means I lose a day of my weekend, and frankly if I charged less than £150 then I just wouldn't offer fitting.

That said. It is relatively easy to do yourself, if you have ever changed a battery in a VX220 then you are a couple of bolts away from removing the heater unit. I will get a guide up this weekend and you can have a look over it to see if you're happy to do it yourself.

In that case you've got the option of having one now or in 4-6 weeks time. From memory I think there's also a discount for a centre console too.
