No idea. They've been hard to find for the last 4 years AFAIK. Opel/Vauxhall obviously got off their collective arses and commissioned some more, by the sound of it.

I have recently had an informed exchange with Spitfire about his set and can state 1, I will be buying a set in the short term and 2, the aftermarket alternatives (to Spitfire) are not as good.

/devils advocate..... Salesman (be that his real job or not) at Spitfire did good.

Are there two types on a 2002 NA ? I think I remember someone saying there is ? If so is there any way of telling without taking things to pieces only to put back while awaiting delivery !

there is a change over period in 2003/2003

rough rule of thumb was N/A and Turbo, but there are some blurred edges for both.

Fastest way to tell is if the outboard nut is 19/17mm then its Turbo/conical and smaller is NA/straight.

I will have to dig out my failed one as that was fairly new , and get a picture to show the metal cross-section. It was only a matter of time before it went and I am glad to now have the Elise-Shop uprated parts.
