Indeed it was, over 50bhp down , same with torque and my at the wheels power was over 55bhp down. Not only that but my power curve tailed off horrendously which is totally different to how it did at AMD. However they only cooled the intercooler in the side pod, every other RR including AMD use the cooling fans at the front of the car. AMD are going to investigate it since losing that much power shouldn't happen between RR's. Nice guys there though, they're looking at a new suspension setup for me, can't remember the name but they're used widely on Subaru's I believe.

My scooby uses Cusco suspension and if it becomes available for the VX I would consider changing, the car feels so planted to the road its unreal and its not just the four wheel drive.

The guy I bought the Scooby off really thought a lot of Powerstation

That's the one :) I'll let you know how good it is when they get back to me for the test fitting. Just got to get this dead engine sorted first.

I am at present looking for a good tuning company down in my area (Berkshire) so any recommendations galdly accepted.

The best Subaru tuning company I know are BR Developments down in Surrey.

Nip on scoobynet and ask the guys there what they think, I'm sure most will put them at the top of the list. Bob Rawle (owner) is active on there so should be able to help online.

Another vote for BR Developments - Bob Rawle is a top chap.. had numerous conversations with him and is without doubt the best tuner out there. Helped me out numerous times and didn't always try flogging me something. No rolling road though and is mapped on the fly (which is often better)

What ECU are you running ? Best to give him a call really and explain everything so he'll have a better idea of what you're after.

Yeah, its spelt Herborn if you want to run a search on Scoobynet. Alongside Bob, Pat is known to be one of the best mappers out there.

For extensive engine work though, I would opt for BRD.

Here is an interesting thread http://bbs.scoobynet...ad.php?t=322013

No!

This was also the PPP version with 300 bhp. For comparison the Audi S4 did 1.25,55. I beleive Top Gear had similar results when the Stig drove both the M3 and S4 on their test track.

Getting back on topic ;) . I tracked my P1 and a (suspension modded) VXT would kill it deader than a dead thing (dry). Add on modded power and it becomes even more clear. They simply understeer like bastards everywhere and the brakes are dead within a couple of laps. On the road the difference is less clear, ultimately the P1 (from my experience) was less drama and possibly faster depending on how far you wanted to push the VXT. VXT would get you there with a bigger smile though thumbsup

I can vouch for Bletch's car, mental bloody mental thumbsup . But i think you would soon get bored with it to be honest, i went around a roundabout near me quite fast and all it wanted to do was understeer, lift off and you got a nice bit of oversteer so on track would be a right laugh (basically what its built for). And as for the power delivery :o wait, wait, WAIT........ ......BANG, here's the turbo then, next gear, BANG, and so forth and so forth!!!! Not my cup of tea but a bloody good laugh, Sean when can i have another go :P Timbo (the driving messiah ;) )
