If he wants be an ars I'm quite happy todo the same Myself and jimmy have emailed him plenty of times discussing the new rules and regs and he just turns his nose up and says he knows better James at TA isn't going to ask glen to change the rules just for Chris to enter. that just isn't going to happen But it's fine I'm done trying to help him and I wish him the best of luck for the season

...and b-r-e-a-t-h-e. It will be me and Chris out on circuit and I for one want to play nicely. Chris, the guys were only trying to help you out and having read and re-read and read again the regulations it does clearly state that for this year Club Class can only change cars, not drivers which is a change from last year when I did a round in my car substituting for Jimmy at Brands.

Jesus come on guys. This place isn't about falling out. And whilst vx's are competing in track, we should be supporting each other. Chris I hear what you are saying. Why not speak with James and query what Jimmy has said? Childish tittle tattle leading to bad blood doesn't sit right with me. So can we all try to get along? :grouphug:

Chris mate, it is valuable advice. James is the Office Manager, Glen is Championship Coordinator and Clark of the Course.

Who is Startline Al? He posts here, can't he comment either way? Does seem odd that Chris is risking it all on what he think is right.

Startline Al is in Race Control and would be able to clarify the regs I am sure.

its fine, one less compettitor to worry about thumbsup

You dont have to worry about anyone, your not driving thumbsup

guess you have never heard of being apart of a team ;) :)

Certainly no longer welcome as part of our team. Hope your problematic car doesn't let you down :)

Oh because you called me cocky and I called you cocky back now im not welcome as part of the "vx team"? lol.... Oh and your car broke down last season so thats a bit rich dont you think....

Ive told you several times that before I ever paid any money to Time Attack it was agreed that I could drop the first round and I could use another car and driver for the second.

its ok jimmy, tbh i was being nice when i said we dont need to worry about him considering what he has done to his car recently it quite obvious he cant drive anyway

Joe I would run circles round you on track.

You want to stop with the personal remarks too, just remember your going to see me in person soon, something to say about my driving or anything about me, you can say it to my face.

...and b-r-e-a-t-h-e.

It will be me and Chris out on circuit and I for one want to play nicely.

Yep and I was really looking forward to getting out on circuit with you Cliffie! :)

If you read the regs again, it does not say "you can not change drivers" "you can only change cars"

Only competitors entering for the Championships 7 Rounds will be eligible to compete for Championship honours (I have technically entered 7 rounds, just not raced in 7)
for Club Challenge points are awarded on the driver, (The driver? So the second drivers points could be awarded to the first driver)
drivers are eligible to substitute their vehicle once within the season (This just says you can change a car once, does not say you can not change a driver once too)

It sort of hints towards the fact you cant use a second driver, but at no point does it say "Under no circumstance can you use a second driver"

No do not speak to James

If I speak to James about things, if he is not clear he should check with Glen, thats not my job, it is James job as a Manager!

Mine was more of a challenge to you on track.

Yours was more of a remark thats going to get you into a challenge off the track.
