To get the wing mirror and plinth off is it a case of peeling off the 2 circular stickers and undoing whatever is underneath? A small child has just snapped one of the plastic locator poles that hold the mirror into the plinth? Can I repair it or do I have to buy a unit?

Are the stupid plastic gromet things holding the triangle on reuseable? How do you get them off?

If I drop the upper bolts when removing them then they fall into the door?

Anyone got a replacement mirror for sale?

To be honest I'm not sure as I've never looked or even thought about looking. Sure someone will be along shortly though that knows.

And if you do buy a rover 100 mirror, you might also need to add one of these as it doesn't look like the rover ones include them: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item256ffc3eb6

Yeah all the stuff can be re-used. With the bolts my trick was to get all the 3 tools for the job that unscrew all the bolts. Then i unscrew each one leaving the bolt in the holes with the tool attached to it, when all 3 are undone tape the bolt thread up at the other end leaving the bolts in the door still. Handy if you have a couple pair of hands. If the bolt does fall out then just take the plastic cap of the end of the door and get a extenable magnet and have fun fishing it out.

Ok cheers for the tips

Go back a stage to the triangle bit. How did you remove the fixings. The central plastic spike is really tight

Just a screw driver and pop it out. Shouldn't take much effort to remove.

Ok, thanks. Perhaps the red mist wasn't helping! Pretty sure a neighbour's child broke it but It's not right to lock someone else's kids under the stairs is it?

They are also the same as MGF mirrors which does give you the option of having electric mirrors...
