I've done the search, saw the picture of what that plastic cap looks like. And then some hose and a filter somewhere. Also saw the catch tank some people have fitted.
But has anyone got a picture or a description of where it is on the gearbox? I can't see it but I am a complete numpy with things like this.
I'm presuming it can be done with clam on? Is this where I'm going wrong?

I am sure there are plenty of pictures showing its location. It is just to the left of the where the gear selector shaft goes into the box.

Follow the gear selector cables up from the bottom of the engine,to the selector shaft, where this goes into the engine ,slightly up to the left is the gearbox breather outlet.

You can get to if with the undertray off better. Then again I have the PA catch tank and didn't have access from above.
