Hi Giles

Had a reply from Claudio (LM Corse contact) this morning they are now saying middle of next week just finishing the last few items!

Jon

So when they come I will let you all know, hopefully get them packaged and out by Saturday failing that the Monday, which seems more probable :)

Does this mean that those who are picking up personally from you Giles will be able to collect next weekend?

Hopefully a silly question but the binnacle and steering surround are replacement parts and not covers are they? 2nd question, are they easy to swap over?

As Amiy said replacement parts, the binnicle will be the hardest part I reckon but the steering surround comes off a piece of p*ss, just the trip button to pull out and put in the new one 30 mins for both I think.

*************** UPDATE ******************

I've messaged Jonnyboy who is dealing with LM Corse for the products this is what he's told me:

Hi Giles

He did say mid this week but he isnt relaying any information to me about it. He did mention in an email on Monday that the products were done but he never mentioned anything about despatch. I can ask him again. I'm also waiting for some other bits that I was expecting last week. The first couple of bits I ordered came pretty quick but his estimates have been typically Italian since!

I'll email him now and let you know what he says

Jon

I'm getting a little annoyed with our friends at LM Corse for not delivering yet, I can only apologise for the wait guys.

Giles I did mention in that PM I am in no way managing the group buy. I have emailed them when you have asked me to but you are the point of contact for them with this. I'm more than happy to assist with it in any way I can but it may be slightly misleading to say that I am dealing with it directly.

************ Update ************* Claudio from LM Corse has been in touch. Hi Giles we have had a very big problem with the October production. I expect to have ready all the GB parts for the beginning of passed week (from 20th to 26th), but due to a damage to our Autoclave we have a delay of at least 10 days... we are now running with production schedule. We have ready all the rear spoiler and other small items. I'm really really sorry for this problem but the supplier should repair it in two days and it takes more than 8 working days :(, this is why we have planned to buy a new autoclave for January. I suppose to have all the items ready for the next week. Say sorry also to the GB member, it's the first time (and I hope the last one) it happen a big problem like this one. The autoclave should be operative from tomorrow, so the delay should be covered in 7/10 days. Your GB parts should be ready for the next week. We will running as possible to reduce the waiting timing. Sorry again for the inconvenience. I keep you updated. Best regards Claudio Vajani Magnaghi  -  LMCORSE SRL ****************************** So hopefully all parts should be ready for next week then delivery I'm hoping the following week. I will keep everyone updated the best I can. I want my carbon fibre parts too :) I just can't wait much longer!

Unforseen production problems happen. As long as the part quality is unaffected, a small delay doesn't really bother me. Can't wait for the bits to arrive though!

Yeah same here, wouldn't want the parts rushed to save face. Plenty of time over Winter to fit.

If it's any consilation my Ultimate Carbon bits have also been delayed due to issues. As above I don't care tbh as long as when I get the parts they are good.

They weren't happy with the finish so emailed to tell me that they were going to be redone. As I said to them I'd rather they were perfect than rushed to keep me happy.
