As the Title I'm after a good condition steering rack, I've just been on to Titan and they don't have any made up at present going to take a coupl eof weeks. So thought I'd try on the off chance someone has one here they want rid of before parting with cash for a brand new one.. I'm after a 2.5 turn not the 2.7.

the elise-shop is the cheapest, but still not cheap.

I heard that titan were not longer refurbishing old racks , but can't verify

Stock ratio is already 2.75:1

1) A Titan quick rack at £313 + VAT. Ratio is 2.50:1
2) An Elise-Shop quick rack at £356.66. Ratio is 2.36:1 (now £369.95 + vat)
3) An EP quick rack at £425 + VAT. Ratio is 2.25:1 (now £399.95 + vat)

To be honest I would have been looking for around 2.2:1, the 2.50 offered by Titan doesn't seem worth the effort.

This is becoming a PITA 1 - Elise Parts Rack 2.45:1 sit higher on the chassis hence removing the need for raisers. But also I have heard may need Series 2 track rods as they are longer? Anyone know if this is correct? I'm assuming it will be a similar story for racks from Elise Shop, Seriously and Titan.

Why not just use a standard one?

It needs and would rather replace bits that fall off with performace parts rather than standard..

Ah right, i didnt think the quick rack was made any different to a standard one just that it was quicker (less turn lock to lock) I suppose its how you like the feel of it, im forever wishing i didnt have to turn it as much when moving slow but when going faster i think its perfect. But thats just me.

It feels fine to me, not much different than the old one, but I am not the sort of person that notices every little thing.
