time you have factored labour costs, then I would go straight for the k06 with your stage 4 work. there will be so much easily available power on tap that to map it will be easy.

How much is the k06?if remember correctly there was quite a bit of difference in price compared to the k04. 500 difference between these turbo's

if you buy from turbo dynamics, then its £974.40 including VAT , but this has all the uprated bearings and everything.

In going to stage 4 I am looking for a turbo and a map that will give as N/A like feel as possible (of course you can't replicate N/A) but I want it to be as smooth as possible with as little lag as possible. I am not so bothered in getting absolute power out of it, I will happily sacrifice some bhp for linearity.

Basically pay your money and take your choice..... 300bhp from a vxr turbo on a 220 should be adequate for most needs I would think. That is what I am going for....

AET on mine, 315bhp, lag not an issue compared to oem.
