So, I did a search looking for foglight bulb changing and found a thread that said remove plub, unscrew back and job done. However, neither rear will unscrew from the foglight front. They won't even budge. I can't see too well as they're in the rad surround almost and access isn't great through the headlight opening. There does seem to be a little clip on the back of each foglight, but again I can't shift it. Any pointers?

It is a royal PITA Lee. James.a, Ollyj and I changed a fog light bracket the other weekend which involved re-assembling the fog light, bulb etc after the new bracket was in. It can be done but you work effectively blind. That little metal clip comes away and releases the wiring.

Good luck, small hands and a good grip required, the back should turn but the fun does not end there. The spring holding the bulb in place, the clip holding the connector all a pain in the ass.

Yep, that's the "easy" bit Ken! :) I have both wires detached, but just can't twist the rear

Hmm cheers Neil. Looks like I'm putting headlights back in and will save it for a rainy day when the clam can come off.

The side I needed to remove the two Allen bolts at the bottom had rounded off , needed to dremel these off and then removed the lamp and bracket from out of the head lamp hole , it was only when I had the lamp out you could see the lamp had melted :-/

I don't think I've ever used my fog lights. Do people actually use them?

Right, so.... SuperJG visited... swore, and then decided there WAS a locking tab (little plastic clips) that came out with a screwdriver. (No idea where they are now, but it appears they're not needed). Then, next issue... The thread I found previously said the bulbs are H1... So I had 2 H1s to go in and they are actually H3 :( So, the job continues into another day when I can get back to Halfords to buy the right Bulbs!

Neither of mine are working and haven't since I bought it in January. Have tried the switch but it isn't that, have checked the fuse but it isn't that so assume both bulbs have gone over time. Are these an MOT requirement?
