So my headlights are still filling up with water and i'd like a more robust solution than HID kits - I want a road legal, headlight designed to use xenons. With that in mind I have been looking in to various headlight options and have identified a couple of companies who will be able to produce replacement headlights with either the existing bulb setup or with Xenons. A pair of units will be priced much lower than a single headlight from Vauxhall. Could I ask people to take a few seconds to answer the poll (if it shows up)

For me they would have to look identical to the OEM. Anything other than that would make you look like those 206 boys and their aftermarket twin headlamp things.

Completely agree - angel eyes a big no for me, and aftermarket daylight running lights look equally naff. The very minor modification needed would be a nozzle on the xenon units, but this can be very small and flush with the unit, so not a visual modification.

Oem for me too but it would be good to see an artists impression maybe of what they could do, as i could always keep the orginal ones if they looked good.

I would be up for any design in lights as I hate the vx lights with a passion. Such a shitty, crap, cheap desgin that they are.

Ease of installation is the same as taking out a current light - one bolt, the xenons will require the washer bottle feed to be split and attached to both headlights, but that's a 5 min job

If a reasonable price, OEM look, HID with anything else necessary to make them legal, with a sensible adjustment mechanism, then I would more than likely take a set.

If the cost is not mad and they are similar to standard then count me in. I can't tick two votes replacement for worn and an upgrade to the one candle power standard .

tbh I think most people would be interested if they look oem and improve over the standard crap design. price will limit most people though.

that would be cheap, rather than reasonable.
I'd be amazed if anyone can do such a small run for anything less than £600-800 a set. Granted that's still less than half the cost of a new set.

If the lights produce a better projection and remain road legal then £500 is a good price.

How would the xenons be 'legal' unless you are also fitting washers as a bare minimum (the Huayra has Xenons and no load level compensation as its been proven and signed off that with even the lardiest of occupants you cant alter the beam pattern enough to need them.... No real luggage capacity either )

Washers will be fitted - i'll be taking a feed from the windscreen washer pump.

As for road level compensation, sports cars are exempt from that, so stage one is to collect written agreement explicitly stating VX220s are exempt, if that fails I will be looking at Hella self levelling units
