I'm going to be going through a similar process very soon. Once the engine has been rebuilt with LEH Pistols, Steel rods, EDS manifold + 80mm maf fitted I was going to take the car to courtney's for a full remap. However hoping to save myself a bit of money on the new MAF, what is this RS4 housing? I assume it is just a case of purchasing an RS4 MAF housing and then dropping the MAF sensor from the 70mm Z20let maf in to this housing?

Can someone clarify? and if there are any suggestions regarding the rest of the above please let me know

What power are you aiming for? If its anything below 400bhp, just drop a 70mm sensor into a blown 80mm housing. 80mm MAF can do over 400bhp.

there is a difference between the 70mm and 80mm sensor , the arm length is shorter , so the sensor venturi will not sit central to the air flow.

Just for reference if anyone does want a 90mm housing, you can pick one up for £12.50 here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262240184200

Saves having to buy an Audi one :)
