Yeah, you should be good for towing up to 34kg unbraked once you fitted the towbar (it's kind of like fitting an LET or LEH in the back of the car apparently). I know the feeling about funds running low at this time of year but happy to hold on to it until the New Year, if it helps?

Yeah I'm speaking to vocky about potentially porting your tow bar so it gives me that extra half a kg. I feel it will make the difference when towing. Also gives me a much broader spectrum when it comes to tubby engines I want to tow.

Ill pm you to keep this off line.

I think I read on here once that the whole SC conversion adds about 40kgs. Whether that's true......

M62 on bathroom scales = 10.1kg That doesn't include standard pulley (hub only just now) and bypass actuator. So maybe another 0.1kg for a standard weight M62.

I did it with the pulley fitted, so does this mean the harrop is slightly lighter?

That elise towbar from the states is pretty cool....think tiny trailer with track slicks on it. Just not all that legal.

I just measured both with an old analog bathroom scale.
M62 with ZZP modular pulley system and 3.1 pulley around 10.5 kg
Harrop with 75mm pulley around 11.6 kg

Harrop is heavier, not good for the C.O.G. but you will have plenty more power to compensate the extra weight
