Not fitted it yet still need to either polish it or lacquer and put the glass in.

Get it lacquered. Most epoxies aren't UV stable.

Finally got round to finishing and fitting it.
When sanding back it's amazing how easilly it can go from looking rough and discoloured to a clean gloss. This was done by simply wiping a wet finger accross. When you lacquer it this look is even better and permanent.
I like the way it looks from outside of the car. It's not perfect if you look hard enough but with the position it's in it's not really something you are going to be looking at too closely to scrutinise anyway. So for the minimal cost and effort it took and the fact it was a first attempt I am more than happy with the finished thing.
Struggled to get decent photos in the dark -
