Looks nice. What spec is the RS and what's it worth to you?

£10,500 for a 53 Reg Focus RS?? That did surprise me! Thought it would be a lot less than that

The RS is worth £8.5 tops if the bodywork is pristine judging by Parkers and what is going on on Autotrader etc. http://www.parkers.c...9/?yearplate=74 adjust for your milage will take it up to around £8k plus your mods up to £8.5k ish. If I was looking to sell it privately I would put it on AutoTrader/Pistonheads at £9.2k and see what happened and settle for £8 to £8.5 depending on interest.

Unmolested and pristine you might scrape £9.5k. All IMO obviously. GLWTS

As with any modified car, quite often it's easier to sell and you will get more if you revert to standard and sell the good bits separately. Always liked these but the interior is a little to much for me. Looks like a nice example, just imagine what might happen in the future to unmolested ones, looking at some of the other old special RS models. GLWTS

hahahahaaaaa i love what people on here value things at all of you are talking rubbish this RS is worth way more than you lot are saying its a 9.5k car all day long. i have already sold this very cheap at £9250 8 months ago and i didnt even have it up for sale. if any of you guys go on the rs owners club you will realise people liek the RS with these 28 conversions and alot who buy standard change for a hybrid GT25 or 28. so really if you dont know what its worth and your going to judge it by the parkers guide? then dont bother commenting as if you look at what a vx turbo is worth on parkers i bet it isnt as much as they all go for. rant over. plus IMO i have offered the lad my vx220 and £800 which i would happily pay to have this car again aslong as its in as good condition as when i had it. and my cars up for 9300 which is the cheapest turbo by 1700 for sale. so this goes to show what i value it at.

I think he wants to buy the car he sold, for more than what he sold it for? Therefore a good buy and justifies the sale?

Ha ha hi dean hows the christmas and new year ? course it is a real bargin😃😀😊 Just pointing out after a few beers that it really dont matter what any seller thinks his car is worth or how much the mods cost if he want to sell its only worth what some one will pay (look at the last few sc vx that have sold recently hence my tongue in cheek price ) Ya I would love to sell mine for 15000 but probably get way less than half that so that's the way the market is this guys focus might be the dogs danglies and it does look nice but if he wants too much for an 11 year old car he will still have it in a years time
