Reckon you'd need big balls to be seen driving a Smart Roadster... :P

I quite like my smart roadster and like to think it is a smart person's car. I am not sure what consitutes a hairdresser's car. When the vx has a hardtop on, it does not like a poser's car (assuming that is what hair dressers cars are stereotyped to be). Dont posers drive Audi's nowadays?

Mmm, we have at least 2 hair dressers that drive a VX.

Maybe we need a thread 'What's your job?' Then we can tally up what the most common proffession is for VX drivers then the next time someone says, we have an answer lol.

Seriously, the VX aint a hairdressers car, MX5 is!

I agree. Lets have a what's your job thread.

OP - I'd say that driving round in a plastic Vauxhall with an engine direct from a 2003 Zafira, we cannot really afford to care what people think of us, can we?

It is true when I was looking for a VX and undecided between an NA and a Turbo, two friends on facebook ganged up on me saying it was a hairdresser's car....unless I got the Turbo, which was cool. Evidently it must have worked on me? ...Except as of Saturday I'll have 1 of each it seems.
